Here is how you install Italian Horn on 05 Matrix

This is what you get when you order Italian Horn:

This is what you going to need:

I used 1 3/8” punched plate for a mount. Since I wanted to hide the horn behind the bumper I cut about 8”. Mount horn on the steel plate, make sure to use counter bushing. You don’t want to loose your horn while driving.

Now make cuts in the steel plate to make a perfect fit. These groves also help to stop steel plate from swinging. (use dremel to make the cuts.)

Now is a good time to mount relay on the same mount. Just use any kind of screw that will hold it in place. Don’t forget to use counter bushing on the relay too.

After everything is mounted on the plate its time to start working on the wiring. First of all disconnect the battery. I know its enough to disconnect just the negative cable (ground) but I prefer to disconnect both.

I found it easier to make small wires first. Always use wire crimping tool not pliers. Oh and btw I used 12 gauge wire.
